The Referred Open case status can be used when your law firm refers a case to another law firm but the case has not yet been retained by that firm. Once the referred firm retains the case, the status can be updated to Referred Accepted Open. Both statuses denote open cases in CASEpeer allowing users to track referred cases on the Open Cases and Statute reports.
