Reset Your Two Factor Authentication

Change where your 2FA code gets sent to

NOTE: You can only reset your own two factor authentication when you are logged in to 8am CasePeer

If you can access your 8am CasePeer account, you can reset your 2FA method directly from your Profile Settings.

To reset your Two Factor Authentication settings:

  1. Select the gear icon in the top-right corner of 8am CasePeer.

  2. Select Profile Settings.

  3. Click Reset Two Factor Authorization.

4. Select Confirm.

5. Choose your preferred method — email or phone — to receive authentication codes.

6. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

This allows you to change where your codes are delivered or to re-establish your two-factor connection if needed.

If You Cannot Log In

If you are unable to log in to your account and cannot complete the 2FA process, a firm administrator will need to reset your two-factor authentication for you.

NOTE: For security reasons, 8am CasePeer Support cannot directly reset 2FA for individual users, only your firm’s administrator has that permission.
