Edit Dropbox Documents from CASEpeer

How to edit documents in Drobox using the CASEpeer integration.

  • NOTE: The firm must have the Dropbox Integration activated and you must be logged in to your Dropbox account.

  • Navigate to the Documents Tab of the case.

  • Verify that you are working in the Dropbox Section of the Documents Tab.

  • Find the document the firm would like to edit on the list. The document must be in an editable form such as .docx or .xlsx (.pdf and .png are not editable).

  • Click on the dropdown arrow aligned with the document.

  • Select Edit.

  • The document will open in a new window so that edits can be made in Dropbox. If the document is .xlsx it will open in Excel in Dropbox. If the document is .docx it will open in Word in Dropbox.

  • All changes will be saved automatically.

  • To exit the editing page, close the window or click on the dropdown arrow in the upper left-hand side of the toolbar.

  • A small window will appear.

  • Select the Save and return to Dropbox hyperlink to return to the Dropbox section for the case.
