Here's how to request a case grade.

NOTE: Only firm administrators or users with the User Can Set Case Grades permission can set a case grade for a case. Any user without this permission will have their requested case grade sent to the Case Grade Requests Management screen for approval.

Request a Case Grade During Intake

  • Select the + icon to create a new case.

  • Select a grade from the Case Grade drop-down menu.

  • Add a Case Grade Reason. This is a required field when selecting a case grade.

  • Select Save to create the new case along with its case grade.

  • The requested case grade will be sent to the Case Grade Requests Management screen for approval.

Request a Case Grade on an Existing Case

  • Open the existing case and select the green drop-down arrow menu.

  • Select Edit Case Grade.

  • A pop-up window will appear.

  • Select the Grade and enter a Reason.

  • Select Request.

  • The requested case grade will be sent to the Case Grade Requests Management screen for approval.
