The Single Session Activity security feature eliminates the risk of unauthorized access by logging users out of previous sessions on other devices or browsers. Logging in from a new computer will automatically log your user out of other locations.

  • Will having multiple CASEpeer tabs open at the same time be affected by this update?

    • No, you can still have multiple tabs of CASEpeer open in the same browser without being logged out.

  • If I am logged in on my home computer/laptop, will it log me out of my work computer/laptop?

    • Yes, if you log in on a new device or new browser session, the older sessions will be logged out on other devices.

  • What happens when multiple people are sharing one user login?

    • It is never recommended to have individual users share logins. This can cause accountability and security issues. However, if these individuals are logging in at different hours, they will still be able to log in successfully. If individuals try to log in to the single user account at the same time, they will be repeatedly logged out.

  • Can I be logged in on my mobile device browser and work computer at the same time?

    • No, if you log in on your mobile device, you will be logged out of all other devices.
