Reset a Client's Password on the Client Portal

How to reset a client's password for the Client Portal.

  • NOTE: This can only be done by a firm administrator or a user with the Can Send Messages to Client Portal advanced permission.

  • Navigate to the case and click the dark green dropdown arrow at the top right corner of the case.

  • Select Client Portal.

  • A pop-up window will appear.

  • Click Resend Email.

  • The Client Portal link will be sent to the client's email. The client will be able to access the link and create a new password.
