How to update statute dependent dates for a defendant.
Navigate to the Statute Tab of a case.
Click on the bolded name of the defendant whose statute-dependent dates you want to update.
Make your changes.
Click Save in the bottom right corner of the pop-up.
For a Private Party or Commercial Defendant:
For a Public Entity or Federal Government Entity:
NOTE: For a Private Entity or Commercial Defendant, entering a case filed date or arbitration demanded date will mark the statute as protected. For a Public Entity or Federal Government Entity, entering a claim form sent date or response received date will update the pending statute date.
