Edit a Case Note

How to make changes to a case note.

  • Editing case notes is a permission-based action and can only be done by a firm administrator or a user with the permission User Is Allowed To Edit Case Notes.

  • Navigate to the Notes Tab of the case.

  • Locate the note that needs to be edited and click on the dropdown arrow aligned with that note.

  • Select Edit.

  • A pop-up window will appear.

  • Make the desired changes to the case note.

  • Click Save.

  • The changes will be reflected in the Case Notes.

  • NOTE: The notes on a case are an important record. We do not allow users to edit case notes unless they have permission. If you added a note in error, see the instructions for deleting a case note.
