How to make changes to a case note.
Editing case notes is a permission-based action and can only be done by a firm administrator or a user with the permission User Is Allowed To Edit Case Notes.
Navigate to the Notes Tab of the case.
Locate the note that needs to be edited and click on the dropdown arrow aligned with that note.
Select Edit.
A pop-up window will appear.
Make the desired changes to the case note.
Click Save.
The changes will be reflected in the Case Notes.
NOTE: The notes on a case are an important record. We do not allow users to edit case notes unless they have permission. If you added a note in error, see the instructions for deleting a case note.
