Certain firms may have unfavorable experiences with specific doctors. This can occur when a provider lacks professionalism, refuses to negotiate liens, or presents scheduling challenges. In such instances, a firm can flag a doctor as do not use, which will display a red note above their name in search results.
From the Medical Treatment Tab
Navigate to the client's case whose provider you want to mark as do not use.
Go to the Medical Treatment Tab.
Scroll to the desired provider.
Click the dropdown arrow at the end of the provider's row.
Select Edit.
An Edit Treatment Provider pop-up window will appear.
Click Edit underneath the provider's name.
An Edit Provider Contact pop-up window will appear.
Click the do not use checkbox.
Click Save.
A red do not use note will appear above the provider's name when it comes up in search.
From the Health Providers Report
Navigate to the Health Providers Report under the Reports Tab of the Main Menu.
Select the desired provider's specialty from the dropdown.
Click Update.
Locate the provider you want to mark as do not use.
Click the dropdown arrow at the end of the provider's row.
Select Edit.
An Edit Provider Contact pop-up window will appear.
Click the do not use checkbox.
Click Save.
A red do not use note will appear above the provider's name when it comes up in search.
From the Contact Directory:
Click on the Main Menu home icon in the top left of your account.
Navigate to the Management dropdown and select Contact Directory.
In the contact directory, choose the Health Providers option from the dropdown.
Search for the provider you want to mark as do not use.
Click the dropdown arrow at the end of the provider's row.
Select Edit.
An Edit Provider Contact pop-up window will appear.
Click the do not use checkbox.
Click Save.
A red do not use note will appear above the provider's name when it comes up in search.
