How to add a note to a case.
From anywhere in a case
Click "n" on your keyboard.
From the Case Notes feed
This can be done from any tab in the case.
On every tab there is a Case Notes feed on the right or at the bottom of your screen.
Click on the green plus sign next to Case Notes.
A pop-up window will appear on the page.
Type a note into the box.
To direct a note to someone, choose their name from the Direct To dropdown menu on the bottom left of the pop-up.
To select a category for the note (e.g. attorney lien, incident details, etc.), select the category from the drop-down menu on the bottom right of the pop-up.
Click Save.
The new note will appear under the case notes section.
If you directed a note to another worker, they will be notified.
Note: To open the Add Note window from anywhere in a case, click "n" on your keyboard.
From the dropdown next to the case status
This can be done from any tab in the case.
Click on the arrow next to the case status on the top right of the page.
Select Add Note.
A pop-up window will appear on the page.
Type a note into the box.

To select a category for the note (e.g. attorney lien, incident details, etc.), select the category from the drop-down menu on the bottom right of the pop-up.
Click Save.
