How to add a note to a case.
From anywhere in a case
- Click "n" on your keyboard. 
From the Case Notes feed
- This can be done from any tab in the case. 
- On every tab there is a Case Notes feed on the right or at the bottom of your screen. 
- Click on the green plus sign next to Case Notes. 
- A pop-up window will appear on the page. 
- Type a note into the box. 
- To direct a note to someone, choose their name from the Direct To dropdown menu on the bottom left of the pop-up. 
- To select a category for the note (e.g. attorney lien, incident details, etc.), select the category from the drop-down menu on the bottom right of the pop-up. 
- Click Save. 
- The new note will appear under the case notes section. 
- If you directed a note to another worker, they will be notified. 
- Note: To open the Add Note window from anywhere in a case, click "n" on your keyboard. 
From the dropdown next to the case status
- This can be done from any tab in the case. 
- Click on the arrow next to the case status on the top right of the page. 
- Select Add Note. 
- A pop-up window will appear on the page. 
- Type a note into the box. 
- To direct a note to someone, choose their name from the Direct To dropdown menu on the bottom left of the pop-up. 
- To select a category for the note (e.g. attorney lien, incident details, etc.), select the category from the drop-down menu on the bottom right of the pop-up. 
- Click Save. 
- The new note will appear under the case notes section. 
- If you directed a note to another worker, they will be notified.
