Save Documents, Photos, and Recordings to a Case via Email Attachments

Email attachments will automatically be saved to the case they are bcc'd on when an email saves to the Note Tab.

  • NOTE: In order for an email to be associated with a case, it is essential to send it from the email address linked to your CASEpeer account. A Firm Administrator can verify the email address associated with your account within the Users section.

  • In CASEpeer, to the right of the case status, click on the case ID at the bottom of the dropdown to copy it.

  • Navigate to the email associated with your CASEpeer account.

  • Compose an email message to the party you wish to contact.

  • Before sending, paste the copied case ID to the BCC field of the email.

  • Make sure the correct photos, documents, or recordings are attached to the email.

  • Send the email as usual.

  • The email will attach to the Notes Tab of the case as a note with the Email category and the attachments will go to their corresponding tabs, documents to the Documents Tab, recordings to the Recordings Tab, and photos to the Photos Tab.
