Where Should Client Costs Be Added?

Sometimes clients pay for their crutches, urgent care visits or towing out of pocket. There are a few options for tracking a client's out of pocket costs.

Medical Treatment Tab

  • Add your client as a provider and create a lien for the amount that they paid.

Miscellaneous Liens Tab

  • Add a new lien.

  • Add your client as the lien holder.

  • You can use the description box to input any information you want to keep track of.

Costs Tab

  • Select the contact type that is appropriate for the cost.

  • Add a contact into the database titled Client Out of Pocket Costs.

  • Enter the amount and click save
